I The Game Awards 2021 sono stati una notte piena di anteprime mondiali, annunci e nuovi trailer. Sono stati rivelati giochi come Star Wars: Eclipse , The Texas Chain Saw Massacre e il tanto atteso Alan Wake 2, così come i trailer del film di prossima uscita Sonic the Hedgehog 2 e della serie TV live-action di Halo, con le apparizioni di artisti del calibro di Sting, Keanu Reeves e Ming-Na Wen.
